What is the Difference between a Walk-in Session & Private Party:
A "WALK IN" is an informal 2-hour painting session where the artist on staff takes you step-by-step verbally. The artist verbally instructs and DOES NOT PAINT.
The benefit of this type of session is that there is NO MINIMUM number of people required. Even if you only have a few people, you can still enjoy a painting session.
This is not a PRIVATE LESSON OR PARTY and the artist will bounce between your group and other groups in the studio. The studio remains open to other groups and is not held privately exclusively for your group.
You are allowed to choose the time, date and painting* for your group based on the current schedule. (Sorry, parties are sometimes scheduled in advance and WALK-IN sessions may not be available).
*Your group can choose up to THREE different painting themes but there is a slight uncharge for this. Due to the 2-hour limit on time, we are limited on substituting color choices or changing major elements on the painting you have chosen. We do not recommend Adult WALK IN sessions for children under 12 since the complexity of the painting themes and the duration of the session for two hours is usually not a good fit for most younger artists.
A "PRIVAATE PAINT PARTY"
A "PRIVATE PAINT PARTY" is a scheduled/booked 2 1/2 hour painting class where your group has an artist on staff exclusively for your party.
The artist takes your group step-by-step by painting the pre-selected artwork on stage as you follow along.
The benefit of this type of session is that your group is the ONLY group scheduled in the PRIVATE ROOM. There is a 10-person minimum for a PRIVATE PARTY on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
For weekdays, the minimum number of painters is 8 people. You are allowed to choose the time, date and painting* for your group. Scheduling preference is given to private parties.
*Your host will pre-select ONE painting theme for the class. Due to the 2 1/2 hour limit on time, we are limited on substituting color choices or changing major elements on the painting you have chosen.
What Can I expect in this class?
Our art instructor will assist in the very basic "how to paint" step by step. Don't feel bashful, there is wine involved and we try not take ourselves too seriously. The instructor will walk throughout the classroom and help any/all that request help. You can bring your beverage and we do have wine openers, wine glasses and we do have a small ice maker. Feel free to sip while you paint and remember "THIS IS FUN!"
How Long is the Class and What is the Cost?
